International Conference on Healthcare & Social Work and Career Fair 2026

Theme: "Health in a Social Perspective: Innovations, Integration, and Global Solutions"

Join us for the International Conference on Healthcare & Social Work (ICHS) and Career Fair 2026, an exclusive two-day, in-person event dedicated to exploring the critical link between health and social well-being. Building on the resounding success of our 2025 event, this conference will bring together over 1,800 healthcare and social work professionals, thought leaders, innovators, and job seekers for an immersive experience at Toronto Metropolitan University.

About the Event

In an era of rising healthcare costs, aging populations, and global crises, a holistic approach to health is no longer a luxury—it's a necessity. While many parts of the world still treat health and social work as separate fields, Canada has made significant progress in integrating them. ICHS 2026 is designed to be a vital platform for sharing knowledge and fostering collaboration to address global health challenges from a social perspective.

Why You Should Attend

ICHS 2026 is more than just a conference; it's a hub for professional growth, networking, and innovation.

  • Gain a Deeper Understanding of Integrated Care: Learn how to apply an integrated approach to health and social care, focusing on emerging technologies like AI, telehealth, and data analytics.
  • Bridge Employment Gaps: The career fair on Day 2 will connect you directly with leading employers and recruiters in the healthcare and social work sectors. This is an unparalleled opportunity to address labor shortages and facilitate professional integration, especially for newcomers to Canada.
  • Promote Health Equity: Engage in robust discussions on the socio-economic and cultural factors that impact health disparities, exploring solutions from Global North and South perspectives.
  • Access Practical Workshops: Enhance your skills with specialized sessions on CV preparation, interview techniques, policy development, and entrepreneurship.
  • Be Inspired: Hear from a diverse group of experts and professionals, including keynote speakers and panelists who will share their insights and success stories.

Our Legacy: The 2025 Event

Last year, the ICHS and Career Fair was a resounding success, powered by the dedication of Global Events Canada and our community. Without external funding from major organizations, we were able to provide a vital platform that:

  • Addressed the challenges of internationally trained professionals.
  • Connected communities with employers, fostering crucial networking.
  • Successfully ran both an in-person career fair and a virtual conference, reaching over 1,600 attendees globally.

Building on this success, we are committed to making ICHS 2026 even more impactful and are actively seeking partners and sponsors to expand our reach.
