The Middle East is at a historic crossroads, reshaping global power, energy markets, and digital frontiers. How should we understand this transformation?
The Ng Teng Fong · Sino Group Belt and Road Research Institute at Hong Kong Chu Hai College invites scholars, policymakers, and analysts to submit abstracts for the First International Conference on Middle East Studies: Embracing Multidisciplinary Perspectives, taking place on 17 October 2026 in Hong Kong SAR.
We are seeking bold, original contributions across six dynamic panels:
🔹 Power Structures and Security Architectures
🔹 Geoeconomics and Energy Transitions
🔹 Foreign Policy and Interregional Engagements
🔹 Technological Innovation and Digital Geopolitics
🔹 Sustainable Development and Environmental Imperatives
🔹 Social, Cultural, and Identity Dimensions
Why submit? This is a rare opportunity to engage with a truly interdisciplinary audience at the intersection of Belt and Road research, Middle Eastern geopolitics, and emerging global orders—all in the heart of Asia's financial hub.
Submission Deadline: 24 July 2026
Abstract Length: 500–1,000 words
