International Clinic: European Collaborations

Together with DutchCulture country advisor Astrid Mörk, creative professionals Willem Schenk and Pedro Daniel Pantaleone will discuss European collaboration. Topics covered will include networking abroad, knowledge sharing, overcoming challenges together and building meaningful relationships with colleagues in neighbouring countries such as Germany, France, Belgium and the United Kingdom. Margherita Soldati will moderate the event, which will conclude with networking drinks.

In this edition of the International Clinic, early- and mid-career practitioners looking to expand their practice in Europe can find out what European collaboration entails, including where to start and how to find opportunities. They will also learn how embassies and funds can support their efforts. Through conversations with curators, creatives, and cultural advisors, we will explore the opportunities, experiences and challenges of working in a European context, while sharing practical hands-on advice and top tips for effective collaboration.

International Clinic

Organised in collaboration with DutchCulture, the Creative Industries Fund NL and the Dutch diplomatic network, the Nieuwe Instituut’s International Clinics provide a space for Netherlands-based designers and creatives to learn about opportunities for international collaboration and exchange, and to hear from practitioners in the field.
