International Citizen of the Year Award Dinner

Join the World Affairs Council of San Antonio for the International Citizen of the Year Award Dinner (IC22) at the Red Berry Estate on March 2 2022. The event marks the 37th year of celebrating local leaders making a global impact. 

The black-tie affair features a cocktail reception dinner live music and a keynote address from this year’s honoree Shannon Sedgwick Davis CEO of Bridgeway Foundation and the author of To Stop a Warlord. As an attorney activist and passionate advocate for social justice Ms. Sedgwick Davis has guided Bridgeway Foundation in pioneering solutions to these seemingly intractable issues. More recently Ms. Sedgwick Davis and the Bridgeway Foundation have been credited for their pivotal role in mobilizing awareness civilian protection and recovery efforts against the Lord’s Resistance Army and its leader Joseph Kony the first-ever indictee of the International Criminal Court.

The dinner supports the World Affairs Council of San Antonio in its mission to promote public understanding of world affairs and help the community and future leaders participate as global citizens.
