This one day Internal Affairs Update Course is designed to update the experienced Internal Affairs investigator regarding new amendments to law and procedures along with discussing current case studies and tactics for internal affairs investigations of a more complex and challenging nature not encountered in any basic course.

The Philosophy And Techniques Of Internal AffairsNew Laws and POBR IssuesRecent Appeals Cases and the Challenges to the Internal Affairs InvestigatorPotential Critical Issues regarding the Agency Responsibilities Concerning Domestic Violence and Officer Involved Shooting Cases. Students will participate in analysis discussions regarding current difficult cases.
