Intermountain Livestock and Meats Judges Training

This years camp will have a special focus on market and breeding hog evaluation for youth participants with a focus on judging contests. This year, we are combining the youth and adult tracks so that coaches and their teams can learn together. We will have break out sessions where youth will work on oral reasons, coaches will discuss recruitment and team practice strategies, and other adults will talk about judging in the showring. Our goal is to provide targeted education to each of our unique attendees. Besides the usual live animal evaluation, we have also added a special meats judging track for 4-H and FFA youth, their club leaders, advisors, and any interested adults.
