Sergeant Harold M. Pitts will be interred at the TNC on Friday, December 17th at 1pm. His sister is handling the arrangements.Harold M. Pitts, age 67, passed away on September 7, 2021 in Tallahassee, Florida where he has called home for almost his entire life.
Harold was born in Camilla, Georgia to parents Harold E. Pitts and Beverly Waldron Pitts on December 19, 1953. Shortly after his birth, Harold and his parents moved to Tallahassee where he would later graduate from Godby High School. He was then enlisted in the United States Air Force during the Cold War era. After being discharged he entered the construction industry, specializing in carpentry and flooring of all kinds.
Survivors include his loving siblings: Barbara Helen Griffin (Kevin Evans), Helen Gunn (Tommy), Susan Pitts Johnson (Randy), and John Douglas Pitts as well as various nieces, nephews, and extended family members who will remember him fondly and miss him deeply. Harold is now reunited with his parents who preceded him.
Interment at Tallahassee National Cemetery will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society: www.cancer.org/involved/donate.html
