Join Chrissy Anderson in this 8-week Quilting Course to make a charming Garden Sampler Quilt. You’ll create 6 different classic star quilt blocks (times two) with half square triangles, flying geese, quarter square triangles and three triangle squares. Colors and prints will be mixed and matched which gives the quilt a sense of whimsy. Grab a stack of your favorite fat quarters and make this quilt with us!Skill Level:
This is an intermediate level quilt, however, a novice quilter with strong sewing skills (general machine use, troubleshooting and confidence while sewing) would be up to the challenge.

Course Schedule:
This course begins on September 23rd and meets for 8 consecutive Mondays with the exception of Indigenous Peoples' Day and Veterans’ Day. Classes run from 6:30-8:30pm. We will work on one block a week. If you don’t finish, you can finish it at home or set it aside to work on at Open Studio on 12/2. If you do finish the block of the week, you can make the duplicate block.

If at the close of the 8 weeks, you haven’t completed your quilt top, register for Open Studio on 12/2 to finish it up.
*Quilters bring their own fabric & tools Tools, Materials, Supplies:
You may bring your own machine or use one of ours. Although some tools and supplies may be available to use in a pinch, attendees should purchase and bring the following to each class.
Tools Needed:
• Rotary cutter - 45mm
• Acrylic Grid Ruler - 4” or 5” X 24”
• Self-Healing Cutting Mat - 18” X 24”
• A shorter 6” X 12” ruler is nice to have.
*the specific sizes are important to be able to cut the fabric yardage.
