This three-session workshop builds on previous introductory studies, guiding artists toward more polished and advanced pieces using oil and cold wax. Students will refine existing works and begin new ones, exploring abstract styled landscapes, while including an individual level of representation while completing 1-2 paintings. Key artistic principles such as composition, line, blending, shape, texture, mark-making, value and harmonious color palettes will be emphasized. Additional focus areas include working in grayscale, monotones and activating the substrate and using varied tools for expressive effects. Use link below for supply details.
