Are you ready to rock? This course will help make sure you are! If you are an intermediate guitar player, you probably know some major and minor chords, a musical scale or two, and can maybe even play a handful of assorted riffs or melodies, but you want to learn more about how music works, how to play more easily and proficiently, and how to effectively practice to ensure you meet your musical goals. In this engaging course, students will expand on the concepts and techniques introduced in the Guitar Fundamentals course while learning and developing such skills as strumming, reading notation for chords and notes, ear-training, improvising, building a repertoire of songs, and much more. ***ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR***
Sean Radford has been performing as a guitarist, multi-instrumentalist, and singer for nearly three decades. His concert schedule often exceeds two hundred performances per year, and his love of music has seen him perform all over the United States, Canada, Mexico, Europe, and the Caribbean. His diverse music industry experience includes coaching finalists on hit reality TV music programs, working with and directing bands for Nashville country artists, and performing at private events for celebrities, heads of state, and royalty. Sean is a third-generation music educator who combines his passion for teaching with his real-world experience as a musician to create vibrant, memorable, and effective classes for his students.
