About this Event

Skill level: Intermediate

Prerequisite skills: Previous sewing experience. Students will not learn how to use a machine in this class.

A ges: 10 to 17

Students will work on Janome HD-3000 and School Mate 7330 straight-stitch home sewing machines and Janome and Babylock home sergers.

Students will:

  • Cut and sew a patchwork bucket hat ;
  • Receive instruction on how to work with fabrics like denim and other commonly used fabrics.

YOU WILL NEED:

All sewing tools will be provided by Rightfully Sewn Academy and its donors in order to promote and encourage a sustainable future in the fashion industry.
