What to ExpectThis one-day intermediate beekeeping class is designed for current beekeepers looking to expand their knowledge and skills. The course will cover essential topics including:
Managing growth (techniques for managing hive expansion and ensuring adequate space, recognizing signs of overcrowding and how to address them, swarm prevention and splitting colonies)
Queen issues (assessing queen quality, drone layers & laying workers, genetic characteristics, replacing queens, marking queens, breeding queens, ORHBS program)
Feeding colonies (when, what and how to feed honeybees)

About your Instructor
Andie Langemeyer is the founder of Evergreen Beekeeping Company, which offers a suite of beekeeping services including one-on-one mentorship for beekeepers and educational training.
