Intermediate & Up MONDAY Night Volleyball - $6 @ Brashear

This is regular intermediate level volleyball. We play pass, set, spike. It is expected that players know ALL volleyball rules and can consistently serve the ball over the net, pass to the setter, know how to accurately set, etc. This is not a meetup for beginners. If you are not able to consistently pass/set/hit then this is not a good fit. Players must be aware and knowledgeable of regular volleyball rules such as court lines, attacking serves, stepping on service line, back row attacks, doubles, lifts, etc.

Rules: We play by high school volleyball rules & a few house rules, please respect these accordingly: no crossing center line, basketball backboards/poles/hoops are out, no stepping on the opposite court, games to 25 win by 1 (not 2), always rotate at the beginning of the game, losers serve for next game, and we try to play 3 hits with setting from middle front and middle back playing in the center of the court (not deep)- PLEASE call yourself or your teammates. This is necessary to prevent the play from getting sloppy.

You MUST be on the "Yes" list in order to come. If you are waitlisted, you are not able to attend unless MeetUp moves you to the "yes" list when other members change their reservation. \\*It is $6 to play (\*pay in cash at gym or venmo me @OConnor-AJ via friends/family option by 6pm on day of MeetUp; please include date you're paying for in your venmo message). You must RSVP to come. Please message Angela with any questions, etc. *IF YOU CANCEL WITHIN 24 HOURS OF AN EVENT, or no show, YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR PAYMENT FOR THAT EVENT BEFORE BEING ABLE TO PLAY AT ANOTHER EVENT. Members with any unpaid "no-shows" will be removed from the group.
