**THIS CLASS IS AN 8-WEEK SESSION. CLASS MEETS THE FOLLOWING DATES: 1/5, 1/12, 1/19, 1/26, 2/2, 2/9, 2/16, and 2/23.**Class enrollment is limited to 10 students; spots will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis**
8 week Intermediate/Advanced Level Belly Dance:
This class is designed for dancers already possessing fundamental belly dance movement familiarity who wish to elevate their practice to the next level. Layered movement, shimmies, turns, and travelling combinations are featured in this Egyptian-styled Raqs Sharqi class. Students will acquire a greater knowledge and understanding of classic Raqs Sharqi rhythms and music. Emphasis will be placed on personal development, stagecraft, performance skills and improvisational skills.
