About this Event
Intergenerational Sewing Class/Make Tote Bags for Unhoused People
by Stitching Change
Tuesdays, June 18 to July 23
10:00am-1:30pm (welcome to come and go as you need)
Supplies are provided but space is limited so please sign up.
This is a class for all skill levels and generations. It's also an opportunity to volunteer to make reusable tote bags for Unhoused people. If you're a beginner, we'll teach you basic sewing skills, then you'll learn how to make the tote bags so you can come weekly and make more with us.
We hope this class will be a place for different generations to come together. It will be great for families or individuals to volunteer with others to make these tote bags for Unhoused people to use at a local food program instead of plastic bags.
Snacks and water are provided. Since this class is over lunch time, you're welcome to bring your lunch (we have a fridge). Come and go as you need.
Start on any day during this session and attend as many as you want.
