About this Event

What does inclusion look like when someone’s disability is not immediately visible? Especially when that individual is neurodivergent?

Join Shaun Flores for an engaging workshop on hidden disabilities, neurodiversity, wellbeing, and the role we all play in creating more inclusive environments. We are the environment and we are the culture.

Hidden disabilities and neurodivergent experiences are misunderstood or reduced to stereotypes. This session invites staff to think more deeply about what inclusion really looks like in everyday university life, from communication and culture to wellbeing, support, and belonging.

Through lived experience, practical reflection, and open discussion, this session will explore how hidden disabilities can shape everyday experiences of work, learning, and belonging, and what meaningful support can look like in practice.

This is not just a session about awareness. It is a space for honest conversation, shared learning, and clearer action.
