Interactive Sushi Making Class at Shooters Waterfront

Shooters Waterfront is celebrating International Sushi Day with That's How We Roll “Sushi 101” on Friday June 18 at 7 P.M Anchored along the Intracoastal Waterway Shooters Waterfront hosts interactive group sushi-making classes once a month. The "roll-it-yourself" class is led by Executive Chef Rolando Centonzio who teaches the art of making plating and sake pairing. Under chef's step-by-step guidance patrons are encouraged to embrace a new skill set by covering basic techniques such as prepping proper equipment and the secrets to scouting out the freshest fish. Then the hands-on learning experience begins with guests crafting two of their own sushi rolls before perfecting chopstick dexterity.
