Intensive Two Day Supervision Workshop by Intentional Supervision Designs

Join us for an immersive and interactive supervision workshop designed to enhance your supervisory skills and knowledge. Led by Dr. Ashly Lawrence, LCPC and Kelly George, LCPC from , this in-person event will provide you with practical tools and strategies to support your work. Whether you're a seasoned professional or new to supervision, this workshop is perfect for anyone looking to deepen their understanding and practice. Topics will include development of the supervisory self, creating and utilizing supervisory agreements, understanding the role of power and privilege in the supervisory relationship, the importance of bilateral feedback (and how to do it), termination, and more. Leveraging an academic understanding of clinical supervision with practical and applied skills, this workshop will help boost your confidence in both your supervisory approach and supervisory identity. Dr. Ashly Lawrence is the founder and owner of A. Lawrence Therapy, PLLC. Ashly is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, with almost 20 years of experience in the field of Counseling, Counselor Education, and Clinical Supervision. Ashly completed her graduate education in Counseling Psychology at Northwestern University. Ashly practices from a relational and feminist lens, centering anti-oppressive practices. In addition to having experience treating individuals and offering clinical supervision and consultation through her private practice, Ashly has experience working in a variety of mental health settings and is a supervisor in the Master’s of Counseling program at The Family Institute at Northwestern University.
Kelly George is the owner and founder of New Constellations Therapy and Consulting, a practice offering individual and family therapy, as well as offering supervision, consultation, and training services. Kelly is a Relational Narrative Therapist, who practices empowering narrative therapy from a client driven anti-oppressive perspective. Kelly received their Masters in Mental Health Counseling at Roosevelt University in 2009. Kelly has been a supervisor since 2013, supervising interns, preliminary licensed clinicians, fully licensed clinicians, and fellow supervisors. Kelly has facilitated trainings both in the Chicago-land area and nationally, and additionally works as an adjunct professor at Santa Clara University.
