The Intensive “Crop to Cup” Workshop is a comprehensive, hands-on coffee program designed for aspiring baristas, café owners, and passionate coffee enthusiasts who want to build a strong foundation in specialty coffee. Over two immersive days, participants will explore the complete journey of coffee from its origins on the farm to the final cup served to customers.
The workshop begins with coffee history and the evolution of coffee culture in India, followed by an in-depth understanding of green beans, including origins, varieties, processing methods, grading, sorting, transportation, and storage. Participants will then learn the fundamentals of roasting and blending, along with sensory evaluation through a guided coffee tasting and cupping session.Practical modules include grinder calibration for espresso and manual brewing, efficient barista workstation setup, and workflow optimization. Attendees will gain hands-on experience in espresso extraction, milk frothing, and latte art basics, while also mastering popular manual brewing methods.
To reinforce classroom learning, the program includes an additional live café work experience day, allowing participants to apply their skills in a real-world setting. By the end of the workshop, attendees will have the confidence and practical knowledge to brew exceptional coffee professionally or at home.
