Discover the best of both worlds in this 6-week Combination Wheel & Handbuilding class! Perfect for beginners that are looking to expand their skills, this class introduces the fundamentals of wheel throwing while exploring creative handbuilding techniques to enhance your work. You'll learn to throw cylinders and bowls, create pinch pots, trim your pieces, make a variety of handles, and add sculptural details and surface designs. Along the way, you'll receive personalized guidance as you develop your own projects and creative goals. During the final week, you'll complete your work with underglazes and glazes before your finished pieces are kiln fired. By the end of the course, you'll have a collection of functional and artistic ceramic pieces while gaining confidence in both wheel throwing and handbuilding techniques.

Integrated Clay is an intermediate-level class - some prior clay experience is required. While this class is beginner friendly having taken a wheel 1 is suggested.
