Join us for this two part class on the intarsia technique! Intarsia is a colorwork knitting technique used to create large, distinct, non-repeating blocks of color (like pictures or shapes) without carrying yarn across the back, resulting in a single-thickness fabric. Class: Intarsia Knitting with KJ - a 2 week class
When: Saturday May 16 & 31, 1-3pm.
Who is this class for: Advanced Beginners & Up.
What you will learn: Intarsia work, Picking Up Stitches, Duplicate Stitch, Mattress Stitch Seaming.
What to bring: Size 6 & 7 needles, 2 hanks of Homestead in your main color choice, our Sheep Pack (partial color balls for the sheep & heart) and a pillow insert (we have them in stock). Pattern is $5.00 and will be provided in the class. First class will concentrate on Intarsia, second class on pillow construction.
Cost: $10.00 for each class.
