A bout the Tutor

Ellen Burroughs is an artist and printmaker working at University of Leeds, Kingston School of Art and running Lutra Studio for artist research and editions.

She holds a Masters in Print from the Royal College of Art and received the Stanley Picker Tutorship award in 2022.

What will I need to bring?

All materials and equipment will be provided.

You may want to bring some ideas, imagery or reference material to draw from (though not essential).

Please wear old clothes as printing can get messy. No sandals, heels or open toed shoes. Aprons will be provided.

You may want to bring a packed lunch and your own water bottle.

Teas and coffees are provided.

Carousel Print Studio is a not for profit charity based on the ground floor of Exchange Place Studios in Castlegate, Sheffield. Carousel provides educational workshops in printmaking and opportunities for creatives in Sheffield, in a bright, warm, accessible and well equipped printmaking studio.
