Instructor Course (Heartsaver/ BLS)

For successful completion, instructor candidates must:

1. Have current AHA provider status in BLS for Healthcare Providers or Heartsaver AED and be proficient in all the skills of that discipline. (A copy must be submitted to us before attending the classroom course)
2. Prior to the training you must complete the Basic Life Support Instructor Essentials Online or the Heartsaver Instructor Essentials ONline. (You must submit a copy of the completion certificate)
3. • Basic Life Support Instructor Essentials Online
   • Heartsaver Instructor Essentials Online
4. Successfully complete the classroom Instructor Course and pass written test
5. Successfully be monitored teaching their first course within 6 months of completing the classroom Instructor Course

Instructor Course Includes:

• 2 year AHA Instructor certification
• Heartsaver or BLS for Healthcare Providers 2020 Guidelines Instructor Manual
