With a sound that can be likened to Regina Spektor meets early 2000s pop-punk, Madi Task is a Cleveland-born, Brooklyn-based artist who calls her sound “flannel pop.” Influenced by such artists as Alanis Morissette, Michelle Branch, and Halsey, Task produces the kind of deptful songs you could listen to 100 times and still find new meaning.
