Bio:
Luciana Fisher is a Brazilian-American writer, dyslexic poet, and breast cancer survivor whose work explores vulnerability, identity, and resilience in the face of social systems. Her debut collection, Beneath the Surface, traces a raw, lyrical journey through grief, love, and rediscovery, with proceeds supporting breast cancer and neurodivergence initiatives through her fund Beneath the Surface: For Survivorship & Neurodivergence.
A graduate with honors in Economics from BMCC, she is pursuing her B.A. in Social Sciences at NYU. Guided by the belief that storytelling is both survival and resistance, Luciana’s poetry invites readers to look beneath the surface—not just at her work, but at themselves.
