All ages welcome.
Bio:
Athena Complex is an up-and-coming pop punk band based in New York City. Composed of four trans women scattered across the boroughs, they bring a powerful and unique sound to the stage, loudly speaking out against the establishment and all of the bigotry and discrimination that comes with it. They are a four piece rock band made up of drums, bass guitar, rhythm and lead guitar, and a lead vocalist. Their message hearkens back to old school punk ideology with a more modern sound akin to bands like Greenday or Against Me, with some light jazz influences peppered in. If you like upbeat indie music and are angry about the state of the country, you will have a lot of fun with their music.
Produced by the world-famous InspiredWordNYC.com series
