Summary:
Join us for the Canada and Bermuda Territory’s thrilling Conference and Congress in Toronto this summer. From June 26th through July 2nd, officers, employees, Salvationists, and friends from around the territory and beyond will converge on Toronto for this once-in-a-generation event. Our international leaders, Canadians, General Brian Peddle and Commissioner Rosalie Peddle, will be our guests for the weekend congress, supported by territorial leaders, Commissioners Floyd and Tracey Tidd.
In the lead-up to congress, we've planned a conference focused around core mission and other key ministries. This will be held at the beautiful Westin Harbour Castle Hotel located on the scenic Toronto waterfront. We've all felt disconnected throughout this pandemic. This will be the perfect opportunity to reconnect, to share innovative ideas, to learn from one another, and to be re-energized for mission. During the conference week, a new musical, Skeleton Army, will have its Canadian premier, featuring stirring performances and a powerful message.
On Canada Day weekend, the Army's presence will be felt around Toronto and across the downtown. We've planned events in key locations, including a march of witness through the downtown core, being led by the Canadian Staff Band. A parallel youth track will also host amazing activities for kids of all ages throughout the weekend.
We're coming together to raise the roof at Massey Hall in passionate worship, to witness to our neighbours by sharing the love of Jesus. Don't miss out. Join us for INSPIRE as the Canada and Bermuda Territory prepares to be inspired for mission and positioned for growth.
