On behalf of the Ukrainian National Women’s League of America (UNWLA), you are cordially invited to the Fashion Show “Inspired by Ethno” on November 22, 2024 at 6:30pm at Montclair Art Museum 3 S Mountain Ave Montclair, NJ 07042, November 24, 2024 at 2:30pm at Pocono, PA 140 Leisure Lake, Scotrun, PA 18355.Famous Ukrainian designers Oksana Polonets and Lubov Chernikova will present new collections inspired by
traditional folk costumes from their respective home regions — Polonets from Eastern Ukraine (Sumy, Donetsk, Luhansk) and Chernikova from Western Ukraine.
The event will feature a performance from the famous Ukrainian singer Shumei, an auction, along with drinks and refreshments.
As the war rages on in Ukraine, proceeds from the event will be donated to the Emergency Response to the War in Ukraine: Zemliachky UNWLA fund, specifically to purchase women’s uniforms, gear and other supplies necessary for women soldiers.
Your presence and support are deeply appreciated during these challenging times. The Ukrainian people are profoundly grateful for the solidarity from the United States. We hope to see you at this event, which highlights Ukrainian rich folk traditions and supports the courageous women soldiers on the front lines.
