INSPIRE By Debrasha Greye, a Milwaukee-based dance collective, premieres its season 1 performance. This performance is designed to provide a representation of Midwestern Black and Brown communities through dance. INSPIRE explores cross-genre dance through themes of the human experience including individuality, dating, self-reflection, and collective healing. This collective represents dancers from all backgrounds and will motivate, inspire, and connect dancers across generations. This intimate evening of performance is a dedication to the stories and dreams of Black and Brown arts educators, former dancers, creatives, and the like who have invested in the unique arts experiences of Milwaukee children and young adults. Through INSPIRE, we pay homage to the arts professionals and investors that have given light and inspiration to our ever-evolving creative journeys.
