Collector Andy Nickle has assembled an amazing Knute Rockne collection over the years. He will discuss and show some one-of-a-kind and never-before-seen Rockne personal items, including the watch Rockne was wearing at time of the fatal plane crash, the telegram he sent his wife, Bonnie, just before he boarded the plane, pages from the 18-year-old Rockne’s 1907 application and exam for a postal clerk position, and the actual employment contracts he signed with Notre Dame and with Studebaker.
