Bach Festival Society’s perennial favorite for classical newcomers and aficionados alike. Join Dr. John Sinclair for a glimpse behind the scenes at classical music’s intriguing composers and unfamiliar works. Part discussion, part performance, Insights & Sounds will give you a dynamic appreciation for the classical music genre.
The grand organ in Knowles Memorial Chapel, combined with the muscular and mellow sound of the brass section from the Bach Festival Orchestra, produce a program of inspiring and glorious sounds. Works by Strauss, Gigout, Dupré, Barber, Gabrielli, and a fanfare by James Stephenson from the most recent presidential inauguration will be performed.
