We return to Studio5 Center for the Performing Arts with Inside/Out for a preview and discussion of a brand-new work in progress - SOUL REMEDY by award-winning choreographer Monique Haley and Chicago jazz legend Pharez Whitted. Join us!
These two accomplished Black artists will lead exploration of the Aesthetic of the Cool, a culturally specific phenomenon rooted in the Black American experience that has shaped this country’s arts and culture and impacted the world. SOUL REMEDY will respect, reflect, and represent Black excellence as a central component of American culture.

Tickets $10 - 30. Limited audience and essential artists and staff will be present. Seating will be socially distanced and safety protocols will be in place.

Inside/Out is our interactive event series that showcases works in progress and invites you INSIDE the creative process. Each event includes performance of new work-in-the-making, conversation with the artists, and the opportunity for you to shape the new work with your feedback and input.

FAQs
How will you keep audiences and artists safe at this event?
At the event, all in-person attendees must wear face coverings and maintain social distance. Anyone unwilling to comply with these rules will be asked to leave; tickets will not be refunded. All in-person tickets must be purchased in advance and there is a limit of 35 tickets which will be sold, spread out in the space with a capacity for over 100.
Only essential personnel will be present at the event. All personnel will practice the same safety measures as described above.
When is the cutoff to buy tickets?
In-person tickets will be available until they sell out or noon on the day of the event, whichever comes first. No tickets will be available at the door.
For livestream tickets - there isn't a cutoff! People even buy tickets during an online event. We do recommend that you buy your ticket at least an hour in advance, though. That way you can receive the link to the Livestream before showtime and work out any technical difficulties.
How can I find the livestream?
Your ticket purchase will be confirmed via email.
IN A SEPARATE EMAIL - You will then receive instructions for viewing the event (available only to ticket holders) closer to the event.
Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
No. There is no content inappropriate for younger viewers.

Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?
Kind of. To protect the value of your ticket, only you will be allowed into the event. Another person can enter in your name, or you can update us at least 24 hours in advance with the name of the attendee.
