Inside-Out Living Room aims to turn the built environment on its head, creating a cozy community-oriented space in the middle of Downtown North Adams. A pilot pop-up, Inside-Out will place some basic living room accoutrements in the middle of Holden Street, with participating vendors and activity hosts laying out their stalls and wares as an extension of the living room. The result is a living, organic, quilt of coziness and community. Call For Participants
Passionate community members and local vendors are the beating heart of the Inside Out Living Room. We are seeking both vendors to bring their wares as well as members of the public to lead activities.
Vendors: We are seeking vendors who offer a broad range of goods for sale: vintage/secondhand clothing, handmade goods, specialized services, and more. Vintage/secondhand vendors are encouraged to curate seasonal items like sweaters, flannels, and jeans. Vendors are also expected to make their stall work with the inside-out living room theme, not just display their wares in the usual way.
Activity Hosts: Have a passion you love sharing with others? We are also seeking activity hosts who may want to offer interactive activities as part of the living room. Tea tastings, poetry readings, tarot, anything suitable for a public space. Get creative! . Activity hosts are welcome to charge fees or accept donations for their activities. Activities that are free to the public, however, will not be asked to pay a vendor fee.
