Insectos y Bicharracos by Rita Rosa Ruesga

Due to popular demand, FUNDarte & Miami-Dade County Auditorium present once again Insectos y Bicharracos by Rita Rosa Ruesga on October 12th at 3:00 p.m. at Westchester Arts and Cultural as part of FUNDarte's ZunZún Children's Fest 2024.

The ZunZún Children’s Festival celebrates annually with the family and the youngest audiences a varied program of bilingual projects that brings together local and visiting artists to promote the appreciation of universal culture and the values of “Hispanidad”.

Insectos y Bicharracos is a musical theater play, inspired by the album of the same name, produced by Rita Rosa Ruesga and directed by Eddy Diaz Souza. Her band of local musicians will accompany the renowned singer-songwriter to tell this story full of color and Caribbean rhythms with the general production of FUNDarte in collaboration with the Westchester Arts & Cultural Center.
