Inner Permission with @sufiaikbaldoucet

A queer community event taking place immediately following Get Embodied Soul Dance with Ifasina (@get.embodied) as a part of @uniq_explorations. Come to one or come to both. This is an opportunity to be with what may come up during the dance session, or to just be with what may be asking for presence within your body.

We’ll connect with a plant relative for support in understanding when we’re making decisions about our bodies based on outside voices versus our inner wisdom. Then through guided reflection and guided visualization we’ll gently presence difference choices we may desire to make, in alignment with our true needs and resourced by our connection with earth.

Come just for a relaxing space after dancing, or come dive as deep into a body connection practice as you’d like to go. Bring journal and a mat/cushion for the floor (chairs will also be available).

This exploration is fruitful for all queer and trans bodies but especially for those who also have chronic illness, disability, melanated, and fat embodiment experiences, and Sufia will be sharing from this lens.
