About this Event
“Nowhere can a man find a quieter or more untroubled retreat than in his own soul” – Marcus Aurelius
In a world full of distractions, do we truly make time for quiet reflection? Marcus Aurelius—scholar, military leader, Roman Emperor, and Stoic philosopher of 2nd century AD Rome—found solace and strength in moments of inner stillness. Despite the chaos surrounding him, he would retreat into his thoughts, penning reflections that reveal his pursuit of lofty ideals and his honest acknowledgment of imperfections.
Join us as we delve into Meditations by Marcus Aurelius and explore how the art of reflection can bring more depth and meaning to our daily lives.
This Event is hosted by New Acropolis Pune, a School of Philosophy, which is run and managed completely by volunteers, who come together in the common pursuit of Philosophy as a way of Life.
