Autumn has begun. Here in the Northern Hemisphere, darkness trumps light. The nocturnal powers have arrived. A period of retrospection, reflection, and turning inward.
In this event YslashY will guide you to the world within. During this guided meditation with sound and drum we turn inward, we travel into the soul. What have we harvested, what do we need to get through the coming dark times?
Experience the soul to be disconnected from the body, so it can travel through the Wheels of Death to be cleansed, to meet it’s ancestors, to become whole and inspired, so it can be reborn again, to face the light again and to be connected with the body again.
Experience to enter the source, the great void, the end and start of all life, a moment you feel connected with the universe, the great nothing and all. A moment to be not.
We call it Inner Journeys, part of our Death Wheel Tour, because fall is the announcement of the death of the year. The year grows older to finally die and then be born again. To be reborn. The wheel keeps turning. What do we let die and what do we want to be reborn. How do we experience the silence and darkness of death? What is it like when we are absorbed in something great? How do we experience disappearing into the dark, disappearing into the darkness?
Without darkness there is no light. In darkness you can also feel very safe and free, because nothing is visible. You are by not being. It brings total relaxation. An enormous peace. A reset. Just empty yourself.
About YslashY:
YslashY is a Dutch collaboration between Rachel and George. It’s goal is to seek the deeper layers in sound and rhythm, to create a form of silence and peace. For this they use different kind of sound instruments. Rachel is a well trained and experienced Yoga Teacher and is born in Surinam. George is a Shaman and trained in the traditions of North West Europe and has deep interests in the Afro American religions. Together they share the love for nature, traveling, exploring and old traditions.
