Give your inner child the permission to play, create, and be seen. Inner Child Play Day is a joyful and healing experience where movement, imagination, and creativity come together in sacred celebration.Over 90 playful minutes, we’ll guide you through somatic movement, expressive arts, and connection-based games that invite you to return to joy—and remind you why creativity is a powerful gateway to emotional freedom. This isn’t just play—it’s a remembering. Of who you were before the world told you to shrink. Of how healing can feel like laughter, paint-stained hands, and dancing like nobody’s watching.
This year, we’re thrilled to collaborate with one of our favorite community partners, Play More Charlotte, bringing the magic of bubble blasters, parachute play, ribbons, and hula hoops into the mix. Together, we’ll create a playful, joy-filled space where connection and creativity thrive.
We’ll start with a lighthearted, body-awakening warm-up to shake off self-consciousness, then explore a variety of interactive play stations—from finger painting and collaborative chalk murals to bubbles, hoops, and whimsical movement corners. Between activities, we’ll gather for group games that spark laughter, deepen connection, and inspire your imagination.
Whether you come alone, with friends, or as a family, you’ll leave lighter, brighter, and more connected to your truest self. No art, dance, or movement experience is needed—just your curiosity, your open heart, and a willingness to say “yes” to joy.
