Inn Vinegar

Inn Vinegar is a 6 piece band including Jesse Shafer, McCarthy Fitch, Alex Brouwer, Misha Pekar, Parris Byars and Brett Nash. They play a genre-blending style of improvisation heavy original music, leaning on their backgrounds in jazz, rock, funk and electronic music. The band was formed almost 10 years ago while members Jesse, McCarthy and Alex were in high school. They subsequently studied at the College of Charleston, all performing together in the school’s primary jazz combo. Inn Vinegar performs on a rare basis now that members live in different cities and have various musical projects.

Jesse Shafer

Jesse is a Los Angeles based singer-songwriter and session musician originally from Charleston. He works in LA performing in many country groups playing pedal steel, performing in theatre pit bands, playing with original artists and is a faculty member at Musicians Institute. He writes and performs songs as a singer-songwriter in an alt-country style adjacent to Jason Isbell, MJ Lenderman and SUSTO.

* Show is for all ages. Attendees under 18 must be accompanied by a parent. Attendees under 21 will be subject to a $5 surcharge. The surcharge must be paid in cash at the door on the day of the event.
