Born out of a move from the coastal tech hubs to the heart of the Inland Empire, "Inland Empire Linux Enthusiasts" is a community built for the engineers, creators, and innovators calling the Inland Empire home. While our region is the economic backbone of California’s logistics and infrastructure, our tech talent is often hidden behind long commutes or home office doors. We’re here to change that by providing a consistent, local "third place" where the people building the future of the IE can finally connect, collaborate, and share ideas without having to drive to OC or LA.

We believe a strong tech ecosystem doesn’t require a Silicon Valley zip code—it just needs a table and a conversation. Meeting monthly in the heart of Downtown Riverside, we keep things intentionally low-friction: no formal pitches, no gatekeeping, and no high entry fees. Whether you’re a seasoned software developer, a logistics automation specialist, or a student at UCR or RCC looking to break into the industry, you’re invited to help us rebuild the Inland Empire’s tech scene from the ground up.
