In partnership with Paramount+ in Canada, and The Monarch Tavern, Inkdrinks Toronto welcomes local and visiting screenwriters of all stripes, filmmakers of all kinds, and our Canadian industry allies (students (over 18), performers, directors, producers, executives, and agents) taking a break together to get to know one another better. We do this to break down the barriers of access to our profession, in a grassroots-driven social setting. Inkdrinks Toronto is a regular monthly event that happens on the last Thursday of each month through June 2024 at this venue.
This event starts at 7 PM and runs through 9 PM, local time. The Monarch Tavern invites all attendees to enjoy and participate in karaoke, starting at 10 PM. Please drink responsibly.
Join the local and visiting hyphenates who make up the inkcanada community at this venue on the last Thursday of the month through June. More events at additional venues/cities will be announced as they are set.

There is no fee to attend, however, your tab (whatever you personally order) is YOUR responsibility! Abandoned tabs may impact your welcome at subsequent events. Please tip venue staff generously.
This is a public event. For everyone’s safety, you will be greeted at the venue’s entrance and may be asked for your name to ensure that we seat you with our group. If you are not greeted on entry, please ask for the writers. Our numbers vary at each event, as do our available hosts and volunteers.
inkcanada volunteers are also screenwriters and industry workers. Please engage with the venue staff and our volunteers with all due respect at this work-casual event.
