Inkantations at Tŷ Awen

Spooky season is upon us and we’d love to celebrate with you folks!
From Tuesday 27th to Friday 30th, our books will be open for Halloween, spooky and Día de los Muertos-inspired pieces. Custom designs and flash will be popping up over the next few weeks, all of which you’ll be able to pre-book. Also feel free to get in touch if you have your own idea.
On Saturday 31st, we’ll be having a shop open day/ Halloween party. Come down, have a browse through creations from our amazing local makers, chat to us about your tattoo ideas, make a booking, or simply pop in and enjoy the tŷ awen good vibes.
As Halloween falls just before Día de los Muertos, we’d also like to take the opportunity to celebrate and honour the meaning behind this beautiful tradition. Early October we’ll be creating an ofrenda in the studio — a space to remember and celebrate loved ones who are no longer with us. We’d love for you to be part of it. If you’d like to contribute, you’re welcome to bring along a photograph or small keepsake representing someone you’d like to remember, which can be added to the ofrenda…keep your eyes on the feed for updates.
We’ll also have plenty of cakes and treats if you come and show us your costumes, kids welcome on the Saturday open day 🧙 👻
