Explore the fascinating history of natural ink making and discover how plants
and other botanical materials have been transformed into writing and drawing
inks for centuries.

In this hands-on workshop, you'll be introduced to the remarkable story of
Oak Gall ink-- one of history's most enduring writing inks-- along with a
selection of handmade botanical inks created from other sustainably-gathered
natural materials.

You'll sample a variety of inks and experiment with expressive mark making, ink
washes, and drawing using traditional dip pens, handmade brushes, and feathers.
