Ink & Brew : Manga Art Session + Speciality Coffee

Join us for a relaxed, hands-on 2-hour manga drawing session focused on the fundamentals of Japanese-style short-form storytelling. This session is mostly designed to be beginner-friendly; all you need is a little curiosity.What to Expect:Manga Fundamentals: We will start things off by covering the core basics of storyboarding, visual composition, and the narrative structure of a classic 4-panel (4-koma) manga.A Jumpstart for Beginners: To skip the blank-page pressure, you will receive a sheet with the first panel already drawn by the host, giving you an easy starting point to build your own story, or if you prefer, you can start with a blank page.Continuous Guidance: Draw at your own pace in a quiet cafe setting. The host will be available throughout the entire 2-hour session to provide hands-on help with panel layouts, line art, and translating your ideas onto paper.What’s Included:Beverage: 1 speciality coffee (or barista's special brew) from Le Café Code. (Note: The cafe doesn't serve matcha. The cafe owner has a strong, non-negotiable vendetta against green leaf juice, so we’re sticking to real coffees)Art Supplies: All necessary materials provided for use during the session (inking pens, pencils, erasers, and drawing paper).Your Finished Page: Take home your original, completed 4-koma comic sheet.
