Very excited to bring a solid mix of modern hardcore names to the Blue Monk in South London.Welcoming as headline the Californian beast from Initiate. They blend their fast, melodic hardcore riffs with straight forward lyrics and punk elements in a way that feels fresh. Their last two releases only show one thing - Initiate is a band that is determined to show they won't stick to what'd be considered "traditional" hardcore, and they're here to exploit the full potential of their many influences.

Supernova is a politically outspoken hardcore band with main musical influences coming from bands like Carry On, Have Heart, Turning Point and Mindset. The music is high energy with lyrical themes covering topics such as violence against women, social injustices, fighting against oppressors, the power of staying kind in a world designed to make you cruel and of course, The Straight Edge.
