CALL FOR INTEREST!
Double Martini Productions is holding a Call for Interest for participants in a Hillsborough-based Dance Team.
We are calling for women *45 years of age +
(*We will make exceptions for enthusiasm and commitment! So if you are interested in us - we are interested in you!)
This will be a group-choreography dance team with a bit of Sass. Instead of pom-poms, we will don Feather Boas as our accessory of choice.
This TEAM is open to ALL skill levels. Even if you consider your feet to be in disagreement with you, COME ON and join in, there will be plenty of options contingent on how many participants we have.
There is NO COST to join the team. Donations to Double Martini Productions are always appreciated but absolutely not required to participate!
There will be costs associated with purchases Dancers will need to make (costumes/boots or spats/two boas *one for practice, a higher quality for performing, and so forth). Those purchase decisions will be made after we get together. I will do my best to stay as "low budget with a high budget look" as possible! I will also be searching out sponsors to help us with costumes/props.
The only thing I ask:
Each rehearsal, we ask each dancer to contribute a small donation of their choice that will benefit Snow Approach Foundation, who is offering rehearsal space for us.
