In the lecture series, inherit fellows explore heritage through the trans- and multidisciplinary approaches of their own research. This time, with a new key focus: inheritance.
From colonial legacies and ancestral remains to genetic memory, religious rituals, and postcolonial art, the lectures unpack how inheritance shapes belonging, identity, and knowledge itself.
The fellows will explore what can be passed on, and how – and will invite the audience to rethink the ethics and possibilities of living with the past, in the present.
🎨 Contributors include artists of various media as well as researchers from a wide range of humanities and social sciences, such as Anthropology, Art History, History, Literature, Philosophy, Political Sciences and Sociology.
