Inheritors of Memory with Judy Schocken

Join us for this installation of the Inheritors of Memory Speaker Series!

Judy Schocken shares the story of her family's journey from Czechoslovakia to Seattle, shaped by the Nazi rise to power.

As antisemitism grew, Judy's grandfather moved the family several times within Czechoslovakia until 1938 when her father Frank, his wife, and their infant son managed to escape to the U.S. They settled in Seattle, where Judy was later born.

With some help from the Holocaust Center for Humanity, Judy has pieced together her family's history and now shares their story to highlight the devastating impact of bigotry and antisemitism.

The program will be 2:00 PM - 3:30 PM.

Suggested admission is $10 for adults, or $5 for Students and Seniors and can be paid upon entry.

Reserved tickets are recommended, and walk-ins are welcome.

This reservation includes all-day admission to the museum.
