InfraGard Houston August Chapter Meeting

Presenter: InfraGard Houston Board Member and Transportation CSC Sector Chief Andy Ruz

Andres Ruz is an Executive with almost 30 years of Global experience in IT and Information Security. He has an MBA in MIS, a Bachelor's in Computer Science, and over ten certificates in IT, Information Security and Privacy. He is an alumnus of the FBI Houston Citizens Academy.

He started his career as a Help Desk technician at the University where he studied. He builty his path from the infrastructure side of IT, doing Information Security as part of his job. He has had multiple Global Roles and has been part of different Executive Leadership Teams (ELT) for other companies and roles.

On a personal role, he is married and the father of one little daughter; he loves reading and sports and teaches spiritual formation to adults at a Catholic Church in Fulshear.

Presentation Description: This session is a Cybersecurity Tabletop Exercise. You will collaborate with your peers to solve the different challenges the tabletop presents. Learn from others' experiences and contribute from your own experience to help navigate the exercise.

The participants will be able to have a particular chief role in navigating the scenario that will be presented.

They will have to collaborate with their peers, using their authority, knowledge, and experience to answer some questions and respond to the changes the modules will present.

This is a hands-on presentation, where the participants will be learning from others and the facilitator about best practices on Incident Response Plans and Procedures.
