About this Event

30+ Years of modelling communicating systems - what did I learn?

Professor Dame Muffy Calder published her first paper on modelling telecoms protocols in 1989. Since then, the applications and techniques she has developed and used have changed radically over time, as has she. Drawing on successes over the last 30 years, she will reflect on how her research has evolved, what she has learned, and key challenges and issues we might think about in the future.
